Meet the director
Mesoni’s unique consultancy model was born from a family business in Italy. Our Founder and Managing Director, Simone Pinducciu, began his journey in construction at a young age, learning alongside his father and uncle in Sardinia. Inspired by their passion, he pursued extensive studies to become a qualified surveyor, eventually bringing his expertise to the UK.
Simone discovered significant differences between the UK and Italian construction industries. In Italy, he studied for seven years to become a Chartered Surveyor, a comprehensive qualification that encompasses roles such as quantity surveyor, estimator, land surveyor, and building surveyor—all considered separate professions in the UK.
His intensive education covered all aspects of construction, including law, economics, mathematics, accounting, quantity surveying, architecture, planning, structural engineering, topography, photogrammetry, building surveying, and mechanical and electrical installations.
After relocating to the UK, Simone applied his well-rounded skill set to larger-scale projects, predominantly high-end residential developments similar to those he worked on in Italy. The complexity of each project excites him, as it allows him to guide and assist colleagues, consultants, estate agents, solicitors, and, ultimately, clients.
With 15 years of experience as a designer, developer, contractor, and consultant, Simone brings an Italian-inspired construction model to UK projects. He is also a Registered Interior Designer with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry standards.
